ArtworkThe art department at World Wide Recognition was established in 1995 to assist clients with custom layout designs and proper implementation of logos into layouts. Over the years, we have copyrighted several layout designs for our clients to use as original pieces of art dedicated to their company. Whether it is a custom layout or transferring files of artwork, the art department is here to answer any questions you may have regarding your artwork. If you require the services of our art department, we charge $65 per hour. This is a combined process and a one time charge, including any special typesetting, graphic layout, reproduction of supplied artwork, and production set-up Submitted Art All submitted artwork must be approved by our factory before production is approved. Please submit artwork in a vector art format (.eps, .ai, .crd) black & white with high resolution. Vector images us to edit individual elements of the artwork with ease. There are no resolution problems with dots or pixels, while type and lines remain crisp not bitmapped. Bitmap (.bmp) images are made up of pixels, and can not be scaled up effectively. Most bitmap file formats are jpg, tif, or gif. Though acceptable to use these file formats are not suggested for quality print jobs. Depending on the quality of the submitted artwork there may be a charge for the conversion of the artwork to vector art or "camera ready art." Please see below for information regarding other acceptable formats and possible charges. Conversion We can convert any logo or graphic to vector format for a one time $25 charge. If you have an old logo or graphic, we can help,. All we need from you is a scan or copy of the image to be cleaned up into vector art format. Vector conversion is done by hand (mouse) and not through an automated process. This ensures that your logo is at the highest quality. Return of Artwork If you wish for your artwork to be returned, either camera ready or the artwork submitted to our staff, please indicate so on your purchase order. Also, any artwork conversion performed by World Wide Recognition, when finished you will receive an .eps and a .pdf format of your logo. The EPS can be used in the future for any reproduction of your logo and the PDF is a proof for you. Artwork Proofs For custom jobs that we design and typeset, it is recommended to request a proof. We will not proceed with any form of production until we have an approval from you that all layouts and designs are to specification. Production time begins immediately after the proofs have been approved. Trademarks & Copyrights It is assumed by this company that any artwork, copy, including the use of logos or other materials submitted for reproduction is being used in full compliance with all applicable laws regarding its usage. Customer agrees to assume any liability resulting from claims against us for infringements of trademarks, service marks, copyrights, patents and personal rights. |
