Metal ProcessAll plaque images, details, and text are photographically produced onto a .012 thick sheet of anodized aluminum through a contact exposure method. Images are embedded into the pores of the aluminum and sealed by an oxidation process to ensure durability. This special process is ideal for patent recognition plaques because the sealed images become resistant to fading, smoke, salt water, and most chemicals for at least twenty years.
