Women Business Enterprise Certification
With the commitment from more and more corporate and government procurement agencies to encourage and support the development of minority, women, and veteran business enterprises; supplier diversity programs have become crucial components of a company’s strategy to help build relationships and open more business opportunities with underutilized minority-owned vendors as suppliers.
World Wide Recognition is taking the necessary steps to be recognized as a small women-owned business in order to introduce new partnerships with our current clientele as well as enhancing our potential of obtaining more share of the marketplace. We are in the process of obtaining the certification as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE Certification) from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, Office of Advocacy; Minority- and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs) are among the fastest-growing segments of the U.S. economy. Minority-owned businesses generate an estimated $495 billion in annual revenue and employ nearly 4 million workers, while women-owned firms employ about 19 million people and generate $2.5 trillion in annual sales.
